Spring is arriving and with it Chianti starts getting back in gear after a cold and dreary winter, but it wasn’t lacking in events. Things kicked off with Soundvivium, food, wine and music, expertly combined in four evenings and scattered across the Chianti Senese area.
Castellina in Chianti Town Council, Tenuta di Badia a Coltibuono in Gaiole in Chianti and Tenuta di Borgo Scopeto in Castelnuovo Berardenga hosted baroque, operatic and milonga music concerts and proffered their local wines and products, all this to promote young talent and the Slow Food Bougafer project.
The grand finale is set for Saturday 29 May in Monteriggioni:the event’s closing concert will be held from 10 pm onwards in Piazza del Castello with La Memoria in Musica. The group La Gare and many guests will come together in notes and words to gather 100 years of young memories. On 8 and 9 May the stunning village of Montefioralle, in the municipality of Greve in Chianti, offers the classic event, Vini del Castello and Castellina waits for Pentecost. But that’s not all.
After last year’s success, we’re getting ready for the second edition of Classico รจ.
The seminars, tastings, concerts and art exhibitions devoted to the most famous wine in the world will return from 29 May to 5 June. Lastly, on 5 and 6 June Radda will host the 15th edition of Radda nel Bicchiere and a famous Italian DOCG wine will be present to do justice to the event.
